Tyco UAE provides Fire Protection Solutions to Badra Oilfield

Tyco Fire & Security UAE has been awarded by Korean EPC COntractor Samsung Engineering the Fire Protection Package for the BADRA Oilfield Development Central Processing Facility (CPF) Phase 2 Project in Iraq.  The contract includes the design and supply of Fire Fighting and Clean Agent Systems.

"This contract is a significant win for Tyco UAE considering we were also involved with Phase 1 of this project for the design, procurement, fabrication, testing and supply of Deluge Systems.  As the company continues its drive to expand our territorial operations, we aim to provide reliable fire and security solutions to a wider territory and build business with new customers," says Mark Roberts, General Manager of Tyco Fire & Security UAE.

Badra Oilfield is located in the Wassit Province at the Southeast of Iraq.  Gazprom Neft Badra B.A. is engaged in the set up and development of the oilfield as a new grassroots facility to process and export oil and associated gas.  The project involves design and build of Phase 2 of a central processing facility (CPF) for oil production in the field, comprising of gas treatment station, water injection and 3 crude oil processing trains.
